  • Increase the external capacitors C1 and C2 appropriately based on the operating conditions, and ensure that these external capacitors are placed as close as possible to the pins of the K78 series.
    For applications with stringent ripple‑noise requirements, an external LC filter circuit should be used. The inductor value is typically between 10 µH and 47 µH, while the capacitor can be a low‑ESR type or an electrolytic capacitor, as shown in the figure. Note that this product series does not support hot‑plugging at the input nor parallel operation at the output.
